5th Wheel Sidewinder, 19K $1523.99 Sidewinder Combo Turret w/Hardware + arm with king pin #ST400 Leland 7910The premium pin box coupler:Sidewinder is the premium pin box coupler designed specifically for short bed pickups. The nimble and quick design automatically eliminates turning and clearance headaches. Now you can make up to 90degree turns without exiting the truck. Without throwing a switch. Without pushing a button. Sidewinder’s kingpin locking mechanism moves the pivot position 22S rear of the coupler’s attachment point. This enables Sidewinder to handle up to a 90degree turn effortlessly. By moving the pivot rearward while keeping the load centered over the axles, the trailer tracks more closely to the truck. This reduces the need for extrawide turns and allows short bed pickups to jackknife with no fear of contact. And it’s all done automatically. Sidewinder also offers faster steering wheel response, making backing up easier than ever before. The pivoting pin box makes hook up possible at any angle. And since the towing position of the arm of the pin box is locked in line with the truck, you can make full use of the truck bed space, giving you extra storage space for fuel tanks, toolboxes and cargo. Strength by design:Don’t let the slim looks fool you. Sidewinder has been built for strength. The Cchannel design gives it more stability and strength than the standard pin box design. It also allows better load capacity and the ability to support heavier loads. Tested for real world conditions, Sidewinder has cleared rigorous testing by BOSCH automotive proving grounds and exceeds all CSA Standard 19K ratings requirements for RVs. |

A1H Skyraider USN 1/40 Scale Model Aircraft $121.92 The AD-6 (A-1H), also known as SPAD (an acronym, as in Single Place Attack, Douglas ), was a U.S. single-seat attack bomber manufactured by Douglas Aircraft Company. The prototype of the Skyraider was first flown on March 18, 1945 then it was first introduced in the 1950s. The A1 Skyraider first saw combat in the Korean War, where its long loiter time and heavy load-hauling capability gave it a distinct utility advantage over the jet aircraft of the time. A total of 3,180 Skyraiders were built during its last production in 1957. The A-1H Skyraider version of the A1 Skyraider is equipped with four 20 mm guns. The guns were installed on the wings of the aircraft. The A-1H Skyraider can carry many different types of bombs, gun pods, mines on its external wing stations. It can also have fuel tanks for long range missions. The A-H was one of the last versions of Skyraider aside from the AD-7. A-1H Skyraider is a single-seat aircraft that has three dive breaks. A total of 713 were built. It has a maximum speed of 320 miles per hour and is equipped with 4 x 20 mm of cannons. The primary mission of the A-1H Skyraider is to support the ground forces of the Army. Its compartment in the middle can be equipped with passenger seats and for carrying heavy cargo. In the Vietnam War, the United States Army Air Force used it mostly on air support role. It was efficient in giving some back up for rescue tasks. On September 1, 1968, Colonel William A. Jones flew an A-1H Skyraider. He was awarded with a Medal of Honor because he had returned to his base and informed the position of a downed flight crew member, suffering burns and damages to his attack bomber. Atlas II 1/144 1/144 Scale Model $121.18 The Lockheed Martin Atlas II is a member of the Atlas family of launch vehicles, which stemmed from the successful Atlas missile program of the 1950s. It was the last Atlas to use a three-engine, two and a half stage to orbit concept, meaning two of its three engines were jettisoned during ascent, but its fuel tanks and other structural elements were retained. It was designed to launch payloads into low earth orbit, geosynchronous transfer orbit or geosynchronous orbit. The Atlas II family, which includes the Atlas II, IIA and IIAS, was developed in the mid-1980s to address the growing demand for large commercial geosynchronous satellites. Sixty-three launches of all three models were carried out between 1988 and 2004. The Atlas II had its maiden flight on December 7, 1991. It provided higher performance than the earlier Atlas I by using engines with greater thrust and longer fuel tanks for both stages. It utilized an improved Centaur rocket stage, the worlds first high-energy propellant stage, to increase its payload capability. The Atlas II was equipped with lower-cost electronics, an improved flight computer and longer propellant tanks than the Atlas I. The IIAS was the most powerful derivative. The Atlas has been used by NASA since 1958. It served as the launch vehicle for Project SCORE, an instrumentation package developed by the United States Army Signal Corps that became the worlds first communications satellite. The satellite broadcast President Eisenhowers pre-recorded Christmas message worldwide. Dimensions: 12 L x 6 W x 1.54 H |

B-17G Nine-O-Nine 1/62 Scale Model Aircraft $164.18 The Collings Foundation B-17 was named Nine-O-Nine in honor of a 91st Bomb Group, 323rd Squadron plane of the same name which completed 140 missions without an abort or loss of a crewman. The original Nine-O-Nine was assigned to combat on February 25, 1944. By April 1945, she had made eighteen trips to Berlin, dropped 562,000 pounds of bombs, and flown 1,129 hours. She had twenty-one engine changes, four wing panel changes, fifteen main gas tank changes, and 18 Tokyo tank changes (long-range fuel tanks). She also suffered from considerable flak damage. After European hostilities ceased, Nine-O-Nine, with its six-hundred patched holes, flew back to the United States. While the rigors of war never stopped the historic Nine-O-Nine, she succumbed at last to the scrappers guillotine, along with thousands of other proud aircraft. |

B-36J Peacemaker 1/100 Scale Model Aircraft $177.5 The Convair B-36 Peacemaker was the first thermonuclear weapon delivery vehicle and the first operational strategic bomber to truly have intercontinental range. It was the largest piston-engined aircraft ever to be mass-produced. It was also the largest combat aircraft ever built, although there have been larger military transports. The B-36 set the benchmark for subsequent US long range bombers such as the B-52 Stratofortress and B-1 Lancer. The development of the B36 was brought about by Nazi Germanys aggression and subsequently by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The United States Army Air Corps required a long range bomber and opened up a design competition on April 11, 1941. Despite the sense of urgency, the B-36 program progressed slowly. Existing technology failed to satisfy the military requirements, early wartime demands exceeded materials, and weapons more readily available received the highest priority during the war. The Peacemaker had four bomb bays that could carry up to 86,000 pounds of bombs, six remote-controlled retractable gun turrets, and fixed tail and nose turrets. It was the only aircraft designed to carry the T12 Cloud Maker, a gravity bomb capable of producing an earth quake bomb effect. The B-36s maiden flight was on August 8, 1946, and all variants served under the US Air Force Strategic Air Command from 1948 to 1958. On Labor Day, September 1, 1952, two-thirds of the 7th and 11th Bomb Wings B-36s were incapacitated, not by enemy action, but by a windstorm. At 6:42 PM, a tornado made a direct hit on the Carswell Air Force Base, scattering the enormous bombers like empty milk cartons. Flight operations were transferred to nearby Meacham Field and other military bases. Most of the planes were repaired and flying again in less than five weeks. The final version of the Peacemaker, the B-36J, had two additional tanks which allowed an additional fuel load of 2,770 gallons. It also had a much stronger landing gear, permitting a gross takeoff |

B747-400 Northwest Airlines 1/100 Scale Model Aircraft $205.5 The Boeing 747-400 is the most recent version of the Boeing 747 in service and is the best-selling and the most advanced model of the 747 family. The 747-400 is an improved model with increased range. It has wing-tip extensions of 6 ft (1.8 m), winglets of 6 ft (1.8 m), which improve the 747-400s fuel efficiency by 4% compared to previous 747 versions. It has a new glass cockpit designed for a flight crew of two instead of three. The use of electronics reduced the number of dials, gauges and knobs from 971 to 365. It has tail fuel tanks, revised engines and a new interior. The longer range was used by some airlines to bypass traditional fuel stops, such as Anchorage. The -400 was offered in passenger (400), freighter (400F), combi (400C), domestic (400D), extended range passenger (400ER) and extended range freighter (400ERF) versions. The freighter version does not have an extended upper deck. The 747-400D was built for short range operations and does not include winglets, but these can be retrofitted. The passenger version first entered service in February 1989 with Northwest Airlines on the Minneapolis to Phoenix route. The combi version entered service in September 1989 with KLM. The freighter version entered service in November 1993 with Cargolux. The 747-400ERF entered service in October 2002 and the 747-400ER entered service the following month with Qantas, the only airline ever to order the passenger version. Some of the last built Boeing 747-400s were delivered with Dreamliner livery along with the modern interior from the Boeing 777. The last passenger version of the 747-400 was delivered in April 2005. Boeing announced in March 2007 that it had no plans to produce further passenger versions of the -400. However, orders for 36 -400F and -400ERF freighters were already in place at the time of the announcement. As of October 2008, a total of 685 of the 747-400 series aircraft had been delivered. DC-10-30 Northwest Airlines 1/100 Scale Model Aircraft $172.91 The McDonnell Douglas DC-10 is an American three-engine medium- to long-range widebody airliner, with two engines mounted on under wing pylons and a third engine at the base of the vertical stabilizer. The model was a successor to the companys DC-8 for long-range operations, and competed in the same markets as the Airbus A300, Boeing 747, and Lockheed L-1011 TriStar, which has a similar layout to the DC-10. Production of the DC-10 ended in December 1988 with 386 delivered to airlines and 60 to the U.S. Air Force as air-to-air refueling tankers, designated the KC-10 Extender. The DC-10 was succeeded by the related McDonnell Douglas MD-11 that entered service in 1990. The DC-10-30 was the most common model variant of the DC-10. It was the second long-range model after the -40 and was very popular with European flag carriers. The DC-10-30 was produced from 1972 to 1988 and was delivered to 38 different customers, including Lufthansa, Swissair, VARIG, KLM and Iberia. Its maiden flight was August 29, 1970. The intercontinental range DC-10-30 introduced more powerful engines, additional fuel tanks and a third main undercarriage unit. The DC-10-30 incorporates three 218kN CF6-50As, 226.9kN CF6-50Cs or 233.5kN CF6-50C1s or C2s or 240.2kN CF6-50C2Bs. The DC-10-30 has a maximum cruising speed of 982 km/h and a range of 7,505 km with max payload. DC-10-30 (164 built) was the most common model built with General Electric CF6-50 turbofan engines and larger fuel tanks to increase range and fuel efficiency, as well as a set of rear center landing gear to support the increased weight. It was the second long-range model after the -40 and very popular with European flag carriers. The primary users of the DC-10-30 are FedEx, Omni Air International, Arrow Air and Gemini Air Cargo. Biman Bangladesh Airlines operates five DC-10-30s as one of their primary passenger aircraft. Dimensions: 21.5 L x 8 W x 7.7 H |
